| Each spring, Chapin Society members celebrate together at a reception held on campus the eve before Commencement. At the event, the College recognizes and thanks these generous donors as leaders in annual giving to Beloit. This year, guests were also invited to attend a gallery talk by conservator Tony Rajer on Beloit’s valuable plaster cast collection, donated by Lucius Fisher after they were displayed in the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition and to take a sneak peak tour of the new Center for the Sciences, led by project manager and Kohnstamm Professor of Chemistry Brock Spencer and by Klobucar Construction Co., Inc. Vice President Jerry Klobucar. Annual Chapin Society contributions account for more than 90 percent of all money raised each fiscal year. To see more photos from the event, click here |
